- Tile - Tile is a timeless option for any home. They come in many different sizes and shapes. There is ceramic, porcelain, glass and natural stone. Including travertine, slate, terracotta and more! Some of them may be better suited for certain applications than others. Tile setting has a lot of prep work involved to do the job right. Waterproofing is a major step often done improperly, which leads to expensive repairs. If done properly, a tile job could last 25+ years. If done incorrectly, a tile job may not even last 6 months. Tiling is one of the more expensive options and takes the longest to complete. Tile prices generally start around $1sqft up to $40 sqft!!
- Hardwood floors - Hardwood flooring is a beautiful option for many homes. There are so many different species of wood, with different color variations and designs. Some of the options include pine, oak, bamboo, exotic hardwoods, hickory and more! They then can be stained to different tints and colors. Engineered hardwood flooring, is a manufactured hardwood, which can be installed in areas prone to moisture, where solid hardwood floors can not be installed. Engineered hardwoods would be best suited for basements, bathrooms, kitchens, etc. Hardwood flooring is one of the more expensive floor covering options, running around $3-$5= sqft. They can be sanded and re-stained to bring life back into them, after years of wear. Install length of time is moderate, depending on floating, glue down, or nail down install method.
- Laminate - Laminate flooring is a great, inexpensive option to upgrade your floors! Laminate is a very quick install. Most jobs can be done in 1-2 days. Laminate is a "floating floor" which means it sits on top of existing floor with no nails or glue. This allows the flooring to expand and contract through the year. There are very affordable flooring options starting around $1sqft and up to $3+sqft for higher quality options. They are great for pets, however do not handle wet areas well. There is a seam glue option to help waterproof more.
- Vinyl Plank - Vinyl plank flooring is very similar to laminate. It is a floating floor. Very quick to install. However, the planks are made of vinyl material, which means they can resist moisture very well. This is a great option for active families and pets. Vinyl plank flooring runs a little higher than vinyl, mostly because it is a superior version. They typically start around $2 - $3.50 sqft, plus install.
- Vinyl Tile - Vinyl tile is the most affordable option we offer. Its a very quick install. The tile is affordable, at $.75-$2 sqft. They also offer a grout able tile option. When done properly, they are a quite durable finish. If not done properly, they will peel and pop very quickly. They hold up to moisture fairly well. If you need a fast, affordable floor option, vinyl tile is the way to go.
